Tara Bosserman, President/CEO of the Cambria County Association for the Blind and Handicapped, was nominated and selected as one of the 2024 Women Making a Difference in PA Business Central’s Women in Business Program.
For the past 13 years, Women in Business has proudly celebrated the remarkable women of central Pennsylvania whose intelligence, drive, determination, and dedication have led to significant achievements in both business and community engagement through their Women Making a Difference recognition program. This year, the outstanding women were selected from numerous nominations submitted by local business leaders, community figures, and PA Business Central’s loyal readers. Nominations were directed to the St. Francis University Business Development Center, where the final candidates were chosen. The selection committee focused on nominees who have positively impacted the Central Pennsylvania business landscape, demonstrating resilience in the face of change and contributing to the community through volunteerism and mentorship.

Tara was named the President/CEO of CCABH in July 2021. During Tara’s leadership, CCABH has experienced exponential growth in sales and facilities with the completion of two major expansion projects. CCABH is a successful vocational rehabilitation and manufacturing nonprofit which provides employment for individuals with disabilities. Currently, CCABH has over 400 employees which includes over 250 individuals with disabilities.
