CAB® Solar has done it again! CAB® Solar has unveiled ModulAir™, its newest design innovation that will revolutionize above ground cable management for the solar industry. CAB® Solar has engineered this Free Air solution which exceeds NEC requirements for utility scale PV projects. ModulAir™ has been tested by an NRTL to certify that it will carry cables to their designed current limit without exceeding temperature ratings of PV rated cables installed in free air.

CAB® Solar’s ModulAir™ Hanger System utilizes a tiered system for cable separation, optimizing air flow around cables to enhance EBOS performance and to eliminate the need for cable derating. With its flexible design, ModulAir™ provides straightforward design customizations for projects of all sizes. ModulAir™ simplifies project size variations and customizations, delivering project cost savings to installers due to its ease of installation.

This modern yet uncomplicated design will enhance value engineering, reduce hanger waste, meet all NEC requirements, and can be paired with CAB® Solar’s patented Above-Ground Cable Management System with Integrated Grounding.

President/CEO of CAB® Solar, Tara Bosserman, states, “With ModulAir™, CAB® Solar customers will enjoy the benefits of maximizing the ampacity potential of cables of various sizes, as they eliminate the need to derate their cables which will save them money. Across the industry ModulAir™ will enhance the performance of EBOS systems and help deliver more solar generated electricity to the grid.”

CAB® Solar’s ModulAir™ Hanger System along with the CAB® Solar Product Line is on display at RE+ Booth #36024 in Anaheim, California through September 12th.
